About Us

It all began circa 2015. Two high school classmates and bandmates from the 70s got back together to jam in the basement. Al Novak and Rick Luciani just wanted to have some fun playing "the kind of music you wouldn't normally hear in a bar". They enlisted drums and a bass as the core of the band. There were no intentions to ever leave the basement. Personnel additions (and some sad subtractions) followed over the years to widen the variety of songs we could present. The sound was too good to stay in the basement and the band started playing some private parties and eventually a few local venues. We are currently configured as a quintet. The name Farewell Tour derives from our average age, which shall not be divulged!
